3.8 Pre-chorus

DNC(DNC) is the debut EP by the audio-visual duo FLP(VDO), the EP is the manifestation of a cyborgs feelings, thoughts and experiences through an audio-visual experience combining techno music and generative visuals. The EP takes inspiration from techno music and its sub-genres and heavily uses analog synthesizers.

Keenan - Being a lifelong fan of comic books and pop-culture, my take on the collaboration takes inspiration from the cyberpunk genre and motion comics. Each of the 12 NFT's are comic panels unravelling the story of two rebels standing up against the oppression of the system

Gautam - Beat 2 was an attempt to make something lo-fi-ish that had samples from old kung-fu movies and had the thrill of witnessing an ongoing cut throat kung-fu match, or just the feel of watching one on the TV perhaps? hmm....

Swapnil - The art form comes from simple shapes and patterns feeling the track and the protagonists.

The EP takes inspiration from techno music and its sub-genres and heavily uses analog synthesizers. 

Adri - when asked by FLPVDO to make something about my Martial arts side of life, since I am a Martial arts Coach specializing in weapon based art forms, I came up with a few weapon based designs with certain patterns embedded to them. You'll find weapons all the way from the wooden to metallic weapons in this, to name a few - Sensetsukon, Naginata, Tonfa, Sword and Shield, Kama, Kadara, Katana and the Tekko. All these weapons have a very interesting origin and are all from various artforms.

Gautam - Executive disk function is a play on  executive dysfunction and attempts to portray what it feels like to suffer from the same, the feeling of something so basic and fundamental going wrong, your mind playing games with your ownself and being constantly in the eye of the storm. 

Swapnil - The minimalism of the track and the Adri's weapons had to be continued with a tint of Adri's style of pattern-minimalistic work with a complex structure of code to contrast them a little bit.

The EP takes inspiration from techno music and its sub-genres and heavily uses analog synthesizers.

Gypsyhead  -  The idea was to create visual elements those are perfectly in sync and reactive with the music,  by staging the generative art of FLP as the focus point. Each detail is grooving to a particular track or instrument. A dance between gen-art and keyframe animation to the beautifully crafted analogue music of Polkanose. The projects tries to visualize harmony and co-existence, as we all know is what the world would want now more than ever.

Gautam - Aerodrome started as an attempt to make a sort of local flavor of techno, something that sounded organic but also had that ever futuristic element of space techno, the song features an excerpt from a speech by aerospace engineer Dr. Wernher von Braun. 

Swapnil -The following art (yes the weird shapes) is created by taking intersection of the oscilloscopes  - Oscilloscopes are a fun thing to work with.
