DNC(DNC) is the debut EP by the audio-visual duo FLP(VDO), the EP is the manifestation of a cyborgs feelings, thoughts and experiences through an audio-visual experience combining techno music and generative visuals. The EP takes inspiration from techno music and its sub-genres and heavily uses analog synthesizers. Adri - when asked by FLPVDO to make something about my Martial arts side of life, since I am a Martial arts Coach specializing in weapon based art forms, I came up with a few weapon based designs with certain patterns embedded to them. You'll find weapons all the way from the wooden to metallic weapons in this, to name a few - Sensetsukon, Naginata, Tonfa, Sword and Shield, Kama, Kadara, Katana and the Tekko. All these weapons have a very interesting origin and are all from various artforms. Gautam - Executive disk function is a play on executive dysfunction and attempts to portray what it feels like to suffer from the same, the feeling of something so basic and fundamental going wrong, your mind playing games with your ownself and being constantly in the eye of the storm. Swapnil - The minimalism of the track and the Adri's weapons had to be continued with a tint of Adri's style of pattern-minimalistic work with a complex structure of code to contrast them a little bit.
