The doctor eyed up the young man standing in front of him. “You can’t be more than twenty, are you sure you wish to join the Solarpunks?” he asked. “I’m twenty two,” he replied. “Of course I wanna join, they said you could get me in real fast.” “Fine, hop in that chair over there,” he said motioning to a chair in the corner of the room. The young man walked over and sat down looking apprehensively towards the doctor. The doctor walked over to a cupboard, took out a steel instrument and a glass vial of glowing purple liquid and proceeded to fill the device. He walked over to the young man, pulled up his sleeve and placed the instrument against his skin. His finger pressed lightly on the button firing a shot of the purple liquid into the man’s arm. The man winced slightly and said, “What’s that?” “That is pure pholox. It will transport you to the mind-centre so you can be prepared. Don’t look so worried.” The man’s eyes suddenly turned neon purple and he slumped back into the chair as the medicine took hold. Meet “The Doctor” a Solarpunks member who uses traditional methods in order to indoctrinate new initiates to the cause. A natural medicine man, he uses everything at his disposal to help his fellow clan members.
