Predator & Prey (Shikra & Palm Squirrel)
A Shikra (Accipiter badius) a Bird of prey take a close look at the Palm squirrel who takes a peek see outside from its drey (nest). The intension of the Shikra was to hunt the squirrel. This photograph is taken in my garden. The tree is Azadirachta indica (commonly known as Maha Neem Tree) which hosts 6 species of birds during nesting season.
