As an Indian growing up in the Middle-east, it's been difficult to really connect with my culture as the UAE is a cesspool of different cultures. I came across the popular Lofi Study Girl and thought of how I could input India's little cultural tidbits into it, like movie posters, the plastic blue chairs, the lemon and chilli for wading off evil spirits and the girl wearing our traditional Salwar Kameez! Absolutely loved incorporating Indian Culture into this famous trend.
