This artwork is a part of the fourth of five Taj’s Museum collection comprises six art pieces from six different artists. The thought behind this special work is Freedom to express one’s emotions or feelings through physical activities or even any kind of art. Here I attempted to portray a dancer expressing and feeling the truth. During a dance performance there comes many points where the performer can feel the utmost pleasure and satisfaction of the performance, one can say these are the moments where the performer’s mind, body and soul are aligned. These are the moments where one can feel the freedom they’re experiencing through their craft, the truth they’re witnessing. Freedom comes in different ways, for an artist freedom is the ability to express their thoughts through creating. For me, everything is art. Art is everything. And when I say art, it doesn’t necessarily mean literally. Life itself is a beautiful piece of art, along with everything around us. Through this creation I am expressing and experiencing a fraction of the truth of mine. And I wholeheartedly wish for all of us, who are struggling and juggling through life in order to make something better, may we always have the courage to express and have the Freedom aligned through the mind, body and soul.
