Growing up in a remote village, I used to buy toy cars at ' Pooram' (temple festival in Kerala) and dream of driving super cars across the paddy fields. I grew up listening to folklore & mythical stories and as a child, always used to visualise those characters in my mind- faces stained with bright colors, bodies adorned in vibrant fabrics, & holding blazing fire torches, these characters to me were deeply mystical. It used to feel almost as if, the presence of that bygone era was lurking behind each tree, staring at me as I walked every step.Imagining a super car amidst all this almost felt like science fiction to me -  as if from a different timezone altogether!  The only way to connect them together was by converging two different timelines. I know it sounds theoretically absurd & logically impossible, but one day it happened!'The Meeting Place'  is my special edition piece from my NFT series Folk SciFi.
