I was very lucky to photograph Rana, the prince of Jhalana on three different occasions. Each time this cat exhibited different behaviour. Being a subadult, leopards tend to be curious. On this instance, we were the only vehicle following him and he decides to get into a tree right next to our car. We had to literally point our cameras 180 degrees to find him in our lens. I can never forget the curious look he gave me when i was pointing my gigantic lens at this cat. He was so curious to find out what the lens was and why i was pointing it at him. He probably could even see his own reflection in it. I will never know. The only thing i will know is that, this stands to be one of my favourite shots of Rana.
