I have been a huge fan of sci-fi movies where the main character is an astronaut, ever since I watched Interstellar. However, I don't like how astronauts are always depicted, most of the time they are stuck in situations where either they themselves are in danger, or the entire world is. I understand its done to fit the theme of the movie, but when I watched some interviews of different astronauts on YouTube, I realized they are really fun people. They have one of the coolest jobs on the planet, and they seem to enjoy it, a lot! I wanted to capture this and picture it in one of my artworks for a long time. However, there was this wave of astronaut themed artworks in the crypto space a while ago, and so I refrained from making one because I didn't want to be a part of that crowd. I'm a person who doesn't like to hop onto trends just because everyone is doing it, and when I was working on this collection, it seemed to be a perfect time to make the astronaut artwork that I always wanted to. Chilling On A Distant Planet is a depiction of an astronaut lying down, not caring about his mission whatsoever and just enjoying the beautiful, empty and undiscovered world he is in. 3D artwork made entirely using Blender, post processed with Photoshop. About - The Vivid Collection is a collection of colorful, iridescent artworks that are far off from my usual dark themes. They are a portrayal of my other artistic personality, with a completely different aesthetic whilst staying true to my abstract/surreal style.
