Siddhivinayak Ganapati of Siddhatek is the second one in this pilgrimage. Lord Vishnu himself venerated this wish-fulfilling form of Ganesha and by his blessings, slayed Madhu and Kaitabha Asuras.

After scorching days of summer, the breeze of petrichor is finally humming around! It is raining now, and the earth is satisfying her thirst. Little Ganapati is indeed very happy and merrily swinging along with his Mushak. May our devotion be the force that makes his flowery swing go to and fro :)

The Joy Of First Rain

Wishing to witness the beautiful Lasya Nritya (the graceful cosmic dance of the Sacred Feminine) of Mahamaya, Vishnu and Shiva came to Vindhyachal, and greeted the great Goddess Durga. They expressed their desire to her to bless them by bestowing upon them the vision of her Lasya dance. Ever merciful, she picked her Mundamala, draped the saree comfortably, and smiled. Vishnu began playing his flute while Shiva began beating his rattle drum. The melodies gushed and embraced the Goddess, who then began dancing to the tunes of melody. The coordination of her limbs was swift. Her appendages moved rhythmically. Grace was brimming out at every moment. Blessed was the vicinity of Vindhyachal to witness this dance of Jagadamba. This Lasya Nritya is the sole cause of creation, sustenance and destruction. May this dance of Devi bless us all!

Lasya Nritya

While building the bridge on ocean to reach Lanka for rescuing his wife Sita from the clutches of Ravana, Lord Ram decides to invoke the emblem of his Lord Shiva on the shore. Oozing with pure devotion, he builds a Shivalinga, the holy symbol of the Lord, with sand and worships it with fill rituals. He takes a bilva fig in his hand and embraces the Shivalinga. Bound by his love for Ram, Shiva appears there, emerging out of the Shivalinga and blesses Ram for an unobstructed victory in the upcoming war. This Shivalinga is famously known as Rameshwaram, which means both: Ram whose Lord is Shiva, and Shiva whose Lord is Ram. Rameshwaram is that rare place which is among the 12 holy Jyotirlingas and as well as one of the 4 holy dhams of Vishnu. True is the love of Lord Ram towards Lord Shiva.

Ram worships Shiva

The Lord of Parvati constantly remembers the little baby form of Ramchandra, and wishes to manifest it in the reflection of his heart. But baby Ram is quite adamant in playful mood, and refuses to give his vision to Lord Shiva. It is then Shiva embraces his Rudra Veena and begins to sing the name of Ram. Enchanted by the melody, little Ram appears crawling, smeared with dust, and greets Shiva with a gurgling smile. Shiva feels glad to have the vision of Lord Ram in the reflection of his lotus heart. True is the love of Lord Shiva towards Lord Ram.
